Free working checklist / Search visibility

Can customers find
and understand you?

Use these seven checks to review the pages, information and inquiry path that support discovery. Keep a simple list of what is clear, what needs work and what requires better evidence.

01

Make your offer easy to understand

Open your homepage as a new visitor. Can you tell what the company helps with, who it serves and how to take the next step? Write down any claim that needs evidence or any phrase a customer would not use.

02

Give important services their own answers

List your main services and the questions customers ask before buying. Check whether each important service has a clear page explaining its fit, process and next step. Start with useful coverage, not a target number of pages.

03

Check the page’s visible structure

Review the main heading, supporting headings, page title and description. Does the structure make the page understandable? Preview how your title and description might look in a search result.

04

Look for discovery obstacles

Review the site’s robots.txt and sitemap. Look for important pages that are missing from your plan, blocked unintentionally or linked poorly. A successful file check is a starting observation, not proof of indexing.

05

Make local business information consistent

For a location-based business, review your name, contact details, service area, opening hours and relevant service/location pages. Confirm that the details match the business and help someone decide whether to contact you.

06

Answer the question before adding markup

Check that important facts and answers are visible and accurate. Structured data describes that information; it does not replace it. Treat AI-search readiness checks as checks of website foundations, not a ranking or citation measurement.

07

Connect discovery to a real inquiry

Try the contact route on mobile. Check the questions, confirmation, destination and responsible person. Choose the measures you can actually collect: relevant visits, qualified inquiries, sales progression and costs.

Make the findings usable

Choose the next improvement.

Record the page or issue, why it matters to your customers, the evidence you have and the person who can change it. Pick the first useful fix before expanding the work.

For progress over time, use your real search and business records. A technical check cannot establish your Google rankings, AI citations or revenue impact.
