What happens to your unanswered inquiries?

Map the gap between an inquiry arriving and a customer getting a response. Use your numbers to explore a recovery scenario, or leave unknowns blank for a practical measurement plan.

This reviews inquiries you already receive. Creating new demand is a separate growth program.

Start with what you know.

Use the same reporting period for inquiries and responses. Blank fields and “I don’t know” stay unknown. No customer details are needed.

Count unique requests across calls, forms and messages. Count the same inquiry once.

Of those inquiries, how many received a real response from your team or system? This is not the number of replies a prospect sent you.

Bookings ÷ inquiries receiving a response × 100. Use a measured rate from a period with responses, or an explicit estimate to test.

New customers ÷ bookings × 100. Use a measured rate from a period with bookings, or an explicit estimate to test.

Revenue from one new customer’s first sale. Use the selected currency. This is not profit or lifetime value.

What portion of unanswered inquiries could you re-engage?

Choose at least one assumption to test, between 0% and 100%. These are your scenarios, not industry benchmarks. Leave them blank if you need to measure the opportunity first.
